Entrepreneur and Chemical Engineer who in 1972 was the first African American woman to earn a PhD in chemical engineering. She is President and Chief Executive Officer of PEER Consultants, one of the largest black, female-owned and operated, environmental engineering firms in the United States. Her experience spans over 45 years in planning, managing and directing environmental engineering programs for the improvement, maintenance and enhancement of the natural and built environments.
